Frédéric Gabin is Director of Mobile Technology & Standards at Dolby Laboratories, where he leads strategy for mobile media streaming, broadcast, and real‑time communications. A long‑time standards leader, he chaired 3GPP SA4 (Codecs & Multimedia) from 2016 to 2025 and currently chairs the 3GPP SA4 MBS Sub‑Working Group and DVB TM‑5G. In March 2026, he was elected Chair of the 5G Media Action Group (5G‑MAG). He is an Innovator Tech Emmy Award recipient.
