Since 2023, Maria Zeitz has worked at KlimAktiv gGmbH on corporate carbon footprints and decarbonization strategies. She oversees emission factor development and quality, manages the UBA carbon footprint calculator for individuals, and leads sustainability for the Green Streaming project. She focuses on analyzing streaming-related carbon emissions, including system boundaries, viewing scenarios, and new methods. She also develops specific sustainability measures to make video streaming greener. Maria holds a Ph.D. in Climate Physics, which she completed at the University of Potsdam and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.
