Serhan is a Senior Researcher at Nokia Technologies, where he has been working on immersive video systems since 2022. His primary focus is on advancing real-time communication standards in 3GPP SA4, with particular attention to topics such as real-time delivery of immersive media and application awareness in 3GPP networks. Before joining Nokia, Serhan worked at Fraunhofer HHI, where he was involved in research, standardization, and project management across various multimedia transport technologies. He holds a Master’s degree in Communications Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, received in 2014.
