Sergey Fedorov is a Director of Engineering at Netflix, where he leads technical strategy for global content partnerships and platform capabilities. An engineer at heart, he has a track record of executing on industry-shaping initiatives in the Streaming and Internet Infrastructure domains: like scaling Netflix Live Streaming from inception to over 65 million concurrent viewers, building the FAST.com speed test, and shaping operational tooling for the Open Connect CDN that handles over 10% of global internet traffic. Previously, he worked on optimizing Bing infrastructure at Microsoft and high-performance video R&D for Intel Larrabee and Open CL. Sergey holds a Masters Degree in Computer Graphics.
