Jan Veira studied physics at the University of Würzburg and TU Berlin and holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, USA. He began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company.

In 2015, he co‑founded University4Industry (U4I) and has since been building the company as its managing director. The mission of U4I and Jan is to support large companies in developing the skills needed for digitalization, with a focus on AI, data literacy, software development, and industrial security. Clients include many DAX corporations and major mid-sized companies. Jan is the host of the podcast Digital4Leaders.
