Nicolás Levy is the co-founder and VP of Technology at Qualabs, a leading media software engineering outsourcing firm, with over fifteen years of experience in video technology. A Telecommunications Engineer with an MBA, he has worked with global media & entertainment providers and top video technology companies, contributing to the design and implementation of media solutions including video workflows, players, analytics, and more. An active contributor to open-source projects and a participant in the SVTA, his current focus includes MPEG-DASH, CMCD v2—where he is a key contributor—MoQ, and the development of video player reference implementations based on these specifications. He also co-organizes the Montevideo Tech Meetup, a technical event for video developers, as well as the Montevideo Summer Camp.
