Dominik Röttschers

Dominik Röttsches studied Informatics at RWTH Aachen University. He received his master’s degree in 2004, completing his thesis at the interface of artificial intelligence and neurobiology. He started his professional career at Japanese browser maker ACCESS where he integrated a proprietary browser engine into mobile phones. At ACCESS he was also responsible for designing JavaScript API for HbbTV and Web & TV integration. Later he specialised in the development of open source browser engines.

He maintains committer status and contributed to the WebKit and Chromium open source projects.
At Intel Finland he now works as a senior software engineer in the Finnish branch of Intel’s Open Source Technology Center. He is the Chair of the Second Screen Presentation Community Group in W3C and editor of the Presentation API specification proposal.
