Zafer Gurel is the Software Engineering Director at Constructor Tech and manages the Constructor Groups product.
Previously, Zafer was the co-founder and CTO of Perculus and the co-founder of Advancity, two pioneering Turkish ed-tech companies acquired by Constructor Tech in 2025. Their platforms served over two million students across 70+ universities and 100+ organizations, including corporations, government agencies, and academic institutions.
Zafer is also pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Ozyegin University, a journey he began in 2023. His research focuses on streaming technologies, with expertise in Media-over-QUIC, DASH, HLS, and WebRTC.
