Landesinitiative n-21: Schulen in Niedersachsen online e. V.

As project lead, Boris oversees the development and deployment of the centralized school identity management system “moin.schule” run by the German state of Lower Saxony. Moin.schule is a central single sign-on service with user and group data management for all students, teachers, and guardians at general and vocational schools in Lower Sax ony. Boris is responsible for its conception, technical planning, and implementation. He also oversees the “Schulconnex” standardization project, which defines a data exchange standard for school information systems adapted to the requirements of educational technology in Germany and European data protection regulations. The standard originated in Lower Saxony and is now an open-source standard used across German states and by various providers of educational technology. Boris has extensive experience in developing and deploying educational software. He also has a degree in information law and a background in teaching at general schools. He looks forward to a lively and open exchange with attendees of the Fraunhofer FOKUS Learning Technology Symposium 2025.
