Zachary Cava is the Playback Architect focusing on the Video Delivery and Playback Architecture at Hulu. Starting as a client developer on the Living Room applications team, he worked to provide a high quality ad-supported streaming experience across a wide variety of device players and ecosystems that gave him a strong foundation within the streaming media space. Today Zachary is focused on evolving Hulu’s streaming and player architecture around standardized formats such as DASH, CMAF, and CENC to enable ground breaking in-stream content and advertisement experiences in the VOD and Linear OTT distribution space.
