Valentijn Siebrands began his career in broadcast in 1991, working first in radio then content management and subsequently online video delivery. While at RTL, the Netherlands’ largest commercial broadcaster, Valentijn developed live OTT services, building an end-to-end catch-up service without the use of external CDNs. He has also worked with Optus in Australia and Vimond in Norway, delivering live streaming solutions. Today he works as a Solution Architect for M2A Media in London, designing cloud-native streaming services, which deliver multi-region, live events at scale.
