Thomas Buchholz started his career at Deutsche Telekom in 1990.He worked on media related topics in different R&D departments of the company. In 2008 he joined the “New Media” team at Telekom Innovation Laboratories.

As a senior expert he is responsible for innovation projects with media service context such as TV Companion applications, OTT based TV/Video services, media service user interfaces but also VR/AR/360 degree video technologies. As part of this first proof of concepts for future VR/360 degree services were developed and tested.
