Pablo Schumacher is Policy Officer for Digital Content & Law at Bitkom e.V., the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media. At Bitkom, he is responsible for intellectual property, digital content & licensing as well as competition and consumer protection law. He is a lawyer by background and holds a PhD in IP, IT and AI law. Prior to joining Bitkom, he worked as a researcher at Humboldt University in Berlin, as a researcher at the Weizenbaum Institute – the German Institute for the Networked Society, and as a lawyer in a small law firm in Switzerland.
