Fraunhofer FOKUS, together with partners and friends, invites all interested parties of the (mobile) media and content industry to participate the Media Web Symposium 2010. During these two days, international experts will present and discuss current trends in tutorials, technical workshops, and invited conference presentations.
Continuing the series of our FOKUS Workshops, we are now starting to prepare our FOKUS Media Web Symposium 2010. This event should continue the mission to provide a premier information source and technical networking platform for international experts from the related industries and well known academic institutions.
This year’s Symposium with the theme “Mobile Applications, Social Media and HybridTV – towards experiencing integrated communication and media” will take place in Berlin, Germany on November 4/5, 2010 in the traditional 2 days setup, featuring tutorials, workshops and a nice social event on day 1 and a full day conference on day 2. Demonstrations and exhibitions from FOKUS and the sponsors will be shown as well to reflect state of the art technologies and services.
The predecessor of this year’s symposium (“The 4th IPTV & Media Convergence Workshop 2009” and “Facing the Technology Landscape beyond Voice”) was attended by an international audience from all over Europe and a significant number of participants from Asia, North/South America, and Africa. The percentage provenance of the attendants was predominantly from industry (media and broadcast, (mobile) network operators, equipment vendors, and CE-vendors.
Again, we do expect people from all over the world and we would be honored to have you with us as speaker for one of the two days.
