CTO, Engineer and former scientist. Dr Stefan Schinkel specializes in systems architecture and software design with state of the art paradigms and tools. After receiving a PhD in Cognitive Sciences from Potsdam University in 2010 he worked as a PostDoc in biological psychology and theoretical physics at HU Berlin where he specialised in statistical data analysis. He later joined the Potsdam Institute of climate impact research (PIK) working on transferring scientific results into commercially viable products (validation and pre-start up phase). After gaining experience in biomedical data management and lab automation he joined PaxLife Innovations in 2017 as a senior developer to design and implement PXI’s railSTACK platform. He is currently leading the software development at PaxLife Innovations.
