Dr. Imed Bouazizi is a Principal Standards Engineer at Qualcomm, working on topics related to multimedia systems, protocols, and formats. Most recently, he has been working on bridging the gap between immersive media and 5G; defining architectures and solutions for edge media processing, 5G media, and immersive media. Imed received his Ph.D. degree from the RWTH Aachen university and his MSc in computer science from the TU-Braunschweig University in Germany.
