Alexander Leschinsky studied musicology, phonetics and computer science at University of Cologne and electrical engineering and computer science at Fernuniversität Hagen. In 1996 he was Head of IT at GFF Geißendörfer Film- und Fernsehproduktion. In 1999, as a general manager of business unit “Streaming Division” at GFF, he started a partnership with Akamai Technologies. In 2002he was  co-publisher and author of “Handbuch der Fernsehproduktion”. Since 2005 Alexander Leschinsky is managing partner of G&L Geißendörfer & Leschinsky GmbH with main focus on OTT. Since 2009 he is Chief Evangelist at choirmanager.com and since 2011 president of ScoutKrauts, Inc. in San Francisco. In 2016 Alexander Leschinsky was awarded as NetAlliance EMEA Partner of the Year by Akamai.
