5th FOKUS Media Web
Symposium

May 20–21, 2015 – Fraunhofer FOKUS

Jens Uhlig

Founder & CTO

EmtoEmGO UG

I started my professional career at Siemens Wireless Modules in 2004 where I gained deep insights in different aspects of the M2M market.

After finishing the University in 2008 and becoming a diploma engineer (Dipl.-Ing.) of technical informatics, I was engaged in several projects including back-end development, EAI, Big Data and Web 2.0 portals for the finance sector.

Over the years I specialized on software design and architecture patterns with a focus on cloud and SaaS solutions.

Since 2013 I am part of M2MGO and we have the vision to revolutionize the way of building applications for the Internet of Things.

  • Workshop 3 focusses on approaches how to overcome the fragmentation of vertically oriented closed systems, architectures and application areas. A Web of “things” is the most promising approach to deliver open systems and platforms that support multiple applications. Workshop 3 tries to draw up a roadmap for the Web of Things addressing following three topics: (1) Web of Things technologies and protocols, (2) cross-application domains, (3) market development and current trends.
