While completing his studies of media technology in Düsseldorf and communication systems and networks in Cologne, Jens worked as a system engineer and consultant for various customers in the broadcast and telecommunications sector. Since 2015, he has been working as a project engineer at RTL Germany, mainly on projects in the field of contribution, mobile networks and production technology. In this position he manages and supports projects with a strong focus on new technologies and innovations, especially in the areas of 5G, satellite communications and remote TV productions.
