Donald Houwer founded the environmental film festival “Green Me” in cooperation with the NABU – nature conservation association – as part of the Berlinale – International film festival in Berlin. In 2014, he graduated in directing from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (www.dffb.de). In 2015 he took over Edison Filmgesellschaft mbH (www.edisonfilm.de) as Managing Partner. In 2020, he founded BetterStream, the streaming platform for a ecological mindset (www.betterstream.de). He is a Green Consultant for Film & TV and since 2022 member of the board of Green Consultants for Film & TV Germany (www.bvgcd.de).
